​​​​Total Reward Statements

 

Total Reward Statements are available to colleagues and provide a detail overview of the total value of your reward package whilst working at the University.


Your annual salary, including the nationally agreed pay award, is just one component of your reward package.  Your Total Reward Statement also shows any allowances you are paid and outlines the employer’s pension contributions (if you are a member), which are in excess of 20% of your salary.


There are a number of other benefits which are shown, in the non-monetary section, some of these you receive automatically, others you can opt-in to. These include generous annual leave entitlements, health and wellbeing support including our EAP, MCL Medics and access to shopping/lifestyle discounts, home/electronic purchases and cycle to work discounts hosted on our Vivup Benefits platform.


Access your Total Reward Statement by logging into HR Connect Self Service​, click on 'My Pay' on the left-hand side of the screen and then navigate to the 'Benefits' tab at the top of the screen. There will be a 'Total Reward Statement' card, ensure that 'show values' is ticked. ​
