Vacancies
As a Napier staff member you can apply for both externally and internally advertised roles, however both are posted on our internal vacancy pages which you can access and apply for through HR Connect.
Process for Applying
When applying for a vacancy as an internal candidate the process is slightly different than that of an external candidate. We already have some of your details, so when you apply through HR Connect it allows you to skip some of the extra input and let's us know you are an internal candidate.
You can use your Napier login details, and the process of applying is highlighted below:

Please log in to your HR Connect self-service page via the quick links on the staff intranet. |

Once signed in, click on the 'Utility Menu' on the top right-hand corner of the self-service page.
Choose 'Useful Links' from the drop down menu, followed by 'Current Vacancies'.
This should take you to the internal careers site in a new tab. Scroll down the page, enter the 'Job Title', 'Key Words' or choose the 'School/Professional Service' of your preference and click the grey 'Search' button. |

Once your search is complete, click on the relevant job title. This will show you more information about the position. To apply, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click 'Apply Online'. |

Please read all instructions on 'Job Application Summary' and complete the online application form. |

Ensure that you complete all the information on the application summary and the symbols are green. |

Ensure that all your personal/ education/ qualification details are correct and up to date. |

Once you have completed the application form, click 'Apply' and then 'Submit'. |

Once submitted, you will obtain an email from us to confirm that we have received your application. |
