Appointment Form and Offer Process

 

In order for us to proceed with an offer of employment, we will need a completed Appointment Form.

 

Once you have returned your completed Appointment Form to your Talent Acquisition Consultant, they will make the offer to the preferred candidate.

 

The Appointment Form should have been sent to you by one of the team prior to the interviews, however if you need to download another copy, it can be found on our HR Policy and Forms page by clicking here.

 

Your TA Consultant should be the one to make the offer except in special circumstances. If you find that you have no appointable candidates after interview, your TA Consultant will discuss further options with you.

 

The Talent Acquisition Team will regret all other candidates who will be given the option to request further feedback so it is important that all feedback forms are completed accordingly.

 

 

Salary offering

 

New appointments will normally be made at the first salary point within the grade.

 

To offer above the bottom of the grade, a written justification must be approved by your Director of Service/Dean of School and then the Senior Talent Acquisition Team Lead (and potentially Head of Pay & Rewards in exceptional cases) before it can be offered to the candidate.

Please note that all University Tutors will be employed at spine point 34 on the Grade 5 scale.​
