I joined Edinburgh Napier University in Summer 2023 as an Academic Skills Adviser. In my current role, I support students with all aspects of their academic skills development. I also collaborate with staff creating materials and delivering integrated and open workshops, particularly focussing on connections with the School of Applied Sciences.

I was awarded my PhD in Human Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2018. I have worked as a Lecturer in Geography in several UK HE institutions, and I have experience of teaching, research, and pastoral responsibilities. I am interested in better understanding how universities can support students to make the most of their studies, particularly in the context of challenging circumstances such as the ongoing impact of COVID-19 and the cost of living crisis.
