I joined Edinburgh Napier University in Spring 2022 as an Academic Skills Adviser after working in a variety of teaching and student academic support roles in the UK and USA since 2012.

In my current role, I support students with all aspects of their academic skills development. I also collaborate with staff creating materials and delivering integrated and open workshops, particularly focussing on connections with the School of Health and Social Care.

I have recently completed​ a PhD in Linguistics where my research investigates phraseological competence using corpus methods to improve language testing. ​​
