I joined Edinburgh Napier University in Spring 2023 as an Academic
Skills Adviser after having taught Humanities in the secondary and further
education sector for five years. Within my teaching role I had additional
pastoral responsibilities. I was a Deputy Head of Year and co-lead on LGBTQ+
diversity, with a particular interest in student mental health.
In my current role, I support students with all aspects of their
academic skills development. I also collaborate with staff creating materials
and delivering integrated and open workshops, particularly focusing on
connections with the Business School.
