IDP Education

IDP is the world’s largest international student placement service. It offers students to study in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the USA and the UK from 32 countries all around the world. During the 11th-12th of August 2014 an IDP workshop was held which allowed key staff members of IDP from different regions of the world to come together for the first time and take part in sales associated discussions and activities. This took place at the Business School of Edinburgh Napier University.

Participants at the ‘sales’ workshops were: Ahmed Ibrahim (Cairo, Egypt), Omar Bayahya (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia), Dunal Gurbanov (Baku, Azerbaijan), Dhanya Wilson (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates), Haripriya Plakkot (Kochi, India), Mostafa Mohah (Dubai, United Arab Emirates), Petra Vahalova (Cardiff, UK), Rabeya Hasnat Chowdhury (Dhaka, Bangladesh), Rizwan Safdar (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), Ng Hui Li and Wong Hui Yi (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). There are 80 IDP offices across 31 countries.

“IDP enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to learn and hone up on essential selling skills offered by Edinburgh Institute (SALES). The content enabled participants to reflect on how they might improve current ‘sales’ related practices. It is hoped that IDP will deliver to Edinburgh Napier even more international students following these workshops”, Dr. Tony Douglas.
