Moffat Centre News

So far in 2012/13 we have 8 new businesses in the Moffat Centre and another 40 students actively developing business plans. We have delivered a series of master classes and workshops to well over 300 students and hosted the RBS Mobile Business School in early December at Craiglockhart.

We have also recently opened Bright Red Ventures, our new business incubator at Merchiston, which provides 20 high spec hot desks to add to the 10 we already have in the Moffat Centre. We expect to see the number of student and graduate start-ups to increase as a result.

Bright Red Triangle Update

Bright Red Triangle has generated a great deal of interest in our first few months and we are working with a number of clients across a variety of sectors. Clients include Par Equity, GL Floors, Bruce Stevenson Insurance brokers, A Proctor Group and projects pending with Actual Systems and Scott and Fyfe. We are also working with a few internal colleagues on various projects.

We currently have 14 trained and live junior consultants of which 2 have already gone on to secure full time graduate level posts. Sam McFarlane is now with us full time and we will be planning our launch event in the New Year so please get in touch if you would like to know more!
