AACSB Progress Update

The Business School is making progress towards achievement of the next stages of AACSB accreditation. Our AACSB Mentor Linda Garceau, Dean (Emerita) of the East Tennessee State University College of Business and Technology, was here in June for her first visit to meet with staff and the Accreditation Team.

Thank you to everyone who met with the Mentor: Linda commented on how organised and well-informed you all were, and noted that all parties were supportive of the pursuit of AACSB accreditation. She also emphasised that we are in a good position to go forward with our application, thanks to the groundwork that has already taken place in the Faculty. This is the situation we hoped we would be in after her visit and it is down to the support and engagement of our staff that we are set off on such a positive footing.

The Team is currently working on our AACSB Standards Alignment Plan. More information about AACSB accreditation, including documentation that has been submitted to AACSB, is available on the intranet.
