Freedom of Information and Information Management

Two short, practical online training modules on information governance are also available, these have been adapted with funding from the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education, for the Scottish Higher Education sector. All staff are strongly encouraged to complete these modules and then print off a certificate for each module as evidence of your learning activity, which can then be placed in your personal HR file. Staff members please complete the modules through Moodle

Why do we have these modules?

  • they provide basic guidance on the key issues of Information Governance
  • you can choose the time and place to complete them – 10 to 20 minutes per module
  • they’ll help to refresh your knowledge and prepare for an Information Governance briefing session
  • they can be used as an alternative source of information until you’re able to attend a session
