Carers Week
6 - 10 June 2022
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.
The Carers Network has organised a programme of activities designed to provide further insight into what being a carer is, and to offer support to those with caring responsibilities.

Carers Network - Get Together |
Join Gary Hutchison, Sponsor of the Carers Network, as we open Carers Week. After watching a short film on the life of a carer, we will discuss how caring responsibilities can impact our work lives, and how the University supports those with caring responsibilities. It is also the opportunity to meet in person after two years. |

Caring for someone can be very rewarding but there is no doubt it can use a lot of physical and emotional energy.
