National Inclusion Week 2020

 

National Inclusion Week was created by Inclusive E​mployers​ to raise awareness of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Edinburgh Napier University is taking part in National Inclusion Week to celebrate the diversity amongst our staff and students, and to promote and recognise all our staff networks!


The theme this year is Each One Reach One

The University has published guidance on how best to support our colleagues experiencing Menopause - find out more in the Employees Guidance and the Managers Guidance.


Tuesday 29 September 

4pm – 5pm  

 

The new network is launching! Join the online event to hear about the exciting plans to empower and make visible the BAME staff community. 

Wednesday 30 September 

12pm – 1.15 pm 

A lunchtime webinar with a panel of guest speakers from the Army, Navy and RAF to talk about the diversity and inclusion agenda within their particular Service area and the Ministry of Defense. 

Thursday 1 October 

 

Taking care of yourself in these uncertain times is essential, especially when you have caring responsibilities.

Lunchtime webinar by Waverley Care - Supporting Excluded Communities Throughout the Pandemic 

From gay and bisexual men with mental health issues, African and refugee communities, and homeless people at risk of HIVthe charity works on intersectionality in the community. ​
