This can be used by all staff and by managers to support staff, and includes practical advice and guidance for anyone facing potential redundancy. 

 

1.       Employee Assistance - Workplace Options

 

Workplace Options  is the University's Employee Assistance Programme Provider and they provide a free, confidential and independent resource to help  employees balance their work, family and personal lives.  This  service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by phone, e-mail or online and provides information, resources and counselling on any of the challenges that life may bring.

2. PACE (Partnership Action for Continuing Employment)

3.       Preparing yourself for a new job

 

Sites that you might find helpful in deciding what you may be suitable for are direct.gov.uk Careers Advice, and Careers Scotland.  Careers Advice also provide help on completing an application form - see both the main guidance and the more detailed help - and tips and information on preparing for interviews.
